Guides for readers, authors, and the InceNar community.

InceNar documentation

A clear way into the story.

Everything readers and authors need to read, write, discover, publish, and take part in the InceNar community.

1. Getting started

InceNar is a reading-first community for discovering books, following authors, sharing ideas, and keeping your own library in one place. Create an account to save books, follow people, join the conversation, and continue reading across devices.

Use the main navigation to move between your library, discovery, author pages, and PostFliks. Signed-out visitors can browse public pages; an account unlocks personalized features.

2. Reader guide

Readers can find new books, follow authors, track progress, and participate in a thoughtful community around stories. The Reader Guide contains the complete reader workflow.

Library & progress

Add books to your library, mark reading progress, and use reading history to pick up where you left off. Book pages bring together covers, descriptions, chapters, reviews, and related reading in one place.

Discovery & recommendations

Search by title, author, series, genre, or language. Recommendations and discovery shelves help you explore beyond a single title while keeping your existing interests in view.

3. Author guide

Authors can build a public profile, publish stories and chapters, manage drafts, and understand how readers are engaging with their work. The Author Guide provides the full publishing overview.

Publishing

Prepare an accurate title, description, cover, and chapter sequence before publishing. Keep your catalogue organized and make updates through the author tools whenever your work changes.

Author dashboard

Use the dashboard to manage drafts, review activity, maintain your profile, and keep readers informed. Publish consistently, label content clearly, and respond to the community in a constructive way.

4. Pricing

InceNar pricing is organized around the features and plans available to the account type you use. Readers can review the current customer experience and any available offers on the Pricing page; authors should use the author-facing plan information shown during their publishing journey.

Prices, plan names, trials, and included features can change. Always use the linked pricing page as the source of truth before making a subscription decision.

5. Posts & community

PostFliks is InceNar’s public conversation layer. Share a thought, image, quote, poll, or book connection, then respond to other readers with replies, likes, reposts, and bookmarks.

Mentions & hashtags

Type @ to choose from trending accounts or search for a handle. Type # to find trending hashtags or search for a tag. Selecting a result inserts the linked mention or hashtag into your post and keeps the caret ready for the next word.

Safety & moderation

Respect other readers, authors, and their work. Use the report controls when content breaks the community rules; blocking and privacy controls help you shape your experience.

6. Account & privacy

Manage your profile, username, avatar, links, language, theme, notifications, and reading visibility from settings. You can control who can interact with you and request account changes through support.

Do not share your password or verification codes. InceNar will never ask for a one-time code outside an official sign-in flow.

7. Content standards

Do not upload material you do not have the right to share. Harassment, impersonation, spam, fraud, hateful abuse, and content that targets minors are not permitted. Mature themes must be labelled accurately and must follow applicable law.

These standards apply to posts, replies, profiles, covers, stories, comments, and any other content you publish through InceNar.

8. Support
